Our classic cars have arrived!

They finally arrived. Our new collection of drypoint prints. Six Classic Cars. All iconic. And all soooo cute.

We choose six of our favorite oldtimers, drew them in a patterned background that fits their character and processed them through the wonderful art of printmaking. We hand pulled six prints from each car (except for the Mercedes 300SL Gullwing,  Astrid wrecked one, so there are only five) and hand colored each drypoint print differently with bright colors.

Volkswagen Camper van (T2) This lovely camper van is totally synonymous with California. What a hippie vibe our VW van has with all  these flowers! Can you picture yourself cruisin’ down Highway 1 staying the night at Big Sur?

Citroën 2CV Our old time favorite: Le 2CV! We can still remember sitting in the back seat cruising around or having the battery stolen so we didn’t cruise at all. Our parents had a red one, but we made them in all the classic colors. What is your favorite? Green, orange or red?

Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Oh my oh my. In our opinion the Mercedes SL300 Gullwing is one of the most beautiful classic cars ever made. So sophisticated. And look at those doors! How creative is that? The background makes sure it totally radiates that classy snazzy feeling.

Simca 1100 This car is so seventies in itself, and we matched the background and colors in our creations. Can you imagine driving it from Amsterdam to the south of France with no airco nor seatbelts? For some reason it never got the classic car status of the Volkswagen Beetle or Citroen 2CV, but look how cute it is! Definitely a must have for classic car lovers.

Volkswagen Beetle You can’t help but smile when a classic Beetle passes by. The round shapes and happy color just brightens up your day. And we embodied that bubbly feeling in our VW Beetle print as well.

Volvo 245DL What a good old Seventies car. The Volvo looks sturdy yet cozy and we made ours with a wink to its Scandinavian homeland. It’s all set up and ready to transport your whole family including two dogs. And grandma. It may not be particularly fancy, but we like the sense of robustness.

All cars are great as single piece of art. At the same time, you can very well combine them and hang 3, 4 or 6 together. Click here to see all six of them.
